I had the pleasure of working with John Etcheverry for nearly six years during his tenure at Convergent Science. Since the beginning, I found John to be an exceptionally resourceful engineer, possessing a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise gleaned from his previous employments over the years. I have witnessed him fully utilize this proficiency when analyzing and devising innovative solutions for the various complex engineering problems, in both industry and academia, that we tackle at our company. As a result, John's knowledge and skills have consequently been beneficial in resolving a variety of client queries.

I previously worked with John during his time at Convergent Science. During this time, I was at a tier-1 supplier and John was supporting and helping to develop our CFD capabilities pertaining to GDI spray optimization. Throughout our time working together, John was extremely helpful and collaborative towards our efforts. John was excellent at communicating and developing complex ideas to other engineers with lesser technical background. From a customer-supplier relationship perspective, John was very diligent at supporting our activities and coming up with novel ideas and concepts to meet timelines and exceed our original scope.

John was my main point of contact at Convergent Science and provided me excellent support to me when I needed help with very complex simulations of colliding jets using Volume of Fluid and other engine related simulations. Not only he helped me by reviewing and providing feedback on my models, but he would also share multiple resources to help me understand CFD modeling. I can say for sure that I wouldn’t be able to complete my Master’s thesis without his help. John is extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest and a good communicator. I definitely enjoyed working with him.

John was the application engineer who was my counterpart working on 3d combustion on the software side. When I first met John I had very little combustion knowledge. Working together, we achieved some incredible results within a 3 month period. John has always been professional and prompt in our work together. He is very genuine with his colleagues. John always took the time to help me learn while supporting accelerated results. I strongly recommend John as an excellent future colleague in your business.
